Egbert Ribberink (1981) is a sociologist of culture and religion at the Center for Sociological Research (CeSO), KU Leuven, Belgium. He studies the place of religion, non-religion and anti-religion in Europe. This includes topics like new atheism, secularization, communism, anti-Muslim sentiment (or Islamophobia) as well as religious re-invigoration, fundamentalism and resilience. As a part-time PhD-student he has published several articles in national and international peer reviewed journals. These publications can be found here.
